Could you please provide some information about the cloud connectivity architecture used with the 720 telematics module?
In particular, we would like to understand whether the module is designed to connect only to Makersan’s cloud infrastructure or whether it can also be integrated into a customer-managed cloud environment.
It would also be helpful to know which cloud platform and communication protocol are currently supported for telemetry communication.
The 720 telematics module currently uses Microsoft Azure IoT Hub for cloud connectivity and MQTT for telemetry communication.
Devices in the field can either be provisioned and managed through Makersan’s MakIOT infrastructure, or they can be provisioned directly to the customer’s own Azure IoT Hub environment.
At the moment, Azure is the only supported cloud platform.
